LYAA follows the guidance provided by Iredell Statesville Schools and Iredell County.

LAYAC Update Dec 16th: Due to Lake Area Youth Athletic Conference (LAYAC, which includes LYAA, SIAA, and SCAA) gym closings combined with rising numbers of COVID-related cases and quarantines, we are unfortunately canceling all games and practices for the rest of December. We plan to resume our program when schools reopen in January.
Lakeshore Middle School update on Dec 15th: Lakeshore Middle School has cancelled all extracurricular activities and has also closed the Middle School gym to our organization.
